Buzzard hide


The hide is near Dimitrovgrad and accommodates a maximum of 3 photographers. It works from late autumn to early spring and is made for photographing birds of prey and predators, so far giving good results mainly for buzzards. The main structure is dug into the ground, allowing to shoot from a low angle, which is the best point of view and perfectly separates the subject from the background.

It is photographed through embrasures, and a large panoramic glass is used for observation.

Recommended equipment:

Prime lenses - 300, 400, 500 mm, convertors can also be used. Zoom lenses: 150-400,150-600, 200-600mm.

 

The main species that can be photographed are:

 

- Common buzzard

- Jay

- Hooded crow

- Raven

- Fox (rare)

- Jackal (rare and mainly early morning or evening)

- Roe deer (very rare)
